Maine Marathon record holder Ryan Eiler of Boston took down another event record in the half marathon, while Ryan Jara of Gorham and Jenise Madden of Osterville, Mass., were the marathon champions at the 32nd edition of the Maine Marathon, Half Marathon and Relay.

Eiler, the 2022 marathon winner, broke the half marathon record by more than a minute with his time of 1 hour, 4 minute and 42 seconds. He finished 58 seconds ahead of Portland’s Colin Cernik, who was also under the previous record.

Phoebe Oehmig of Brunswick won the women’s half marathon in 1:18:14, beating 2023 champion Veronica Graziano of Falmouth (1:19:07). The non-binary division winner was Caiius Clark of South Royalton, Vt., in 1:51:57.

In the marathon, Jara posted the second-fastest time in event history, 2:21:09. Ryan Forsyth of Rockland (2:23:08) edged Chris Gish of Jeffersonville, Vt. (2:23:18), for second place. Madden took the women’s title in 2:53:32, ahead of runner-up Sadie Smith of Kirkwood, Mo. (2:54:59), while Carey Patrick Wertz of Waterville won the non-binary category (3:23:39).

Among 192 relay teams, Cushing Athletics TC was fastest with a net time of 2:29:50. Other relay division winners were:
